Day 7: ADT 2025

Started today in New Albany the day before Derby and folks were already celebrating. Did some easy sidewalk running, which was a nice change of pace!

I was running along when something drew my eye left and I saw a cozy shop called Mickey's Coffee Shop & Used Bookstore directly next to me...two of my favorite things: coffee and books. So, I popped in and picked up a book and souvenir. If you're in New Albany, be sure to check it out.

After I left New Albany, it was primarily slower highway running (with a slight pass by the casino) for around 10-12 miles until I made myself to Doolittle Hill Rd. Yikes! I know my PhD mathematician husband teased me when I said it was "straight up" but I did check and it's an 18% gradient, so I stand by the straight up comment. LOL

Overall, a good day!
