Day 5: Eastern ADT 2026

Today was a bit of a late start, having spent a few hours commuting to a talk in the Cigna McLean, VA office, but it was well worth it! Not only were my teammates welcoming, but I also found a coffee shop on my way back to the trail.

The C&O Canal Towpath is beautiful, easy to navigate, and filled with spring life. Flowers and turtles and goslings, butterflies and birds and squirrels...it was a good day and I highly recommend the trail for runners, hikers, and bikers.
