Wooden markings for the River to River Trail

First full day on the River to River Trail, which will cover most of the ground I touch in Illinois. Some early beautiful views but also some early difficulties. Mud, trees down, bushwhacking, ticks...I hope things ease up a bit so I don't get too behind on miles. I have several events this week, so I will already be losing daytime hours to off-trail activities.
