Pounds Hollow lake area near Garden of the Gods
My morning was spent in Gallatin County Schools, talking to the great students and staff. It was a bit of a homecoming; several of my old classmates are teachers and staff there...super fun.
Once finished, I jumped back on the trail to head from Gallatin Co toward the Garden of the Gods area. If you did not know Illinois had a Garden of the Gods, you have been missing out. You need to check it out, because it is a beautiful area.
