Day 1: ADT 2025
Best family ever coming to send me off at the trailhead
FINALLY! Day 1! Whew...never thought we'd get here, yet here we are.
It was cloudy all day but the temperature was nice (a little on the chilly side) and no excessive sun exposure. The paths and sidewalk running around Lawrenceburg, Aurora, and Dearborn were great. After that, we got hours and hours of country road running.
Andrew did around 20 miles, making it look easy. He found our first detour for me, about a mile in from where he was supposed to catch the trail and meet me. Some river flooding changed the plans and we ended up with a 1.5 mile detour. I have a feeling that's something I'l need to get used to.
Today was the most miles I've done since my 200 and my glutes weren't sure what was happening. We'll see what tomorrow brings!
